The Day 13-Year Old Ama Shook PIWC

She was her usual self, the Amma we have always known; cool, calm and collected! The fact was that some of us didn't know what was within her sleeves the first time she got up to the pulpit to speak. She spoke directly to her peers, friends, colleagues and little siblings without mincing words, and as if there were no adults present, she produced all the gimmicks there were to help them get the message.

When she was done, she recoiled back into her shell as the same innocent-looking, unassuming, quiet young lady she has always been. This was the 13-year old Amma Badu, the precious daughter and first born child of Brother Ben and Sister Alberta A. Badu. It was obvious that this couple had invested much in their daughter, and wants to leave no stone unturned to bring up their children according to the biblical injunction of "Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it" Proverbs 22:6. Praise the Lord, and thank you dear Brother Ben and Sister Alberta!
