Worcester Womens' Movement in Pictures!

Just on time at the Worcester Central for these two pictures. This was the service Mrs Margaret Ofori, the wife of Overseer John Ofori preached!

Last Saturday, the Women's Movement in Worcester organized a program under the theme "What Children Want their Mother's to Know". The pictures below show the various groups that met to discuss the topic at the Worcester PIWC. The program was so challenging that there were appeals for the topic to be revisited sooner or later!

Getting the Church Ready for a Wedding!

In addition to the spiritual revolution that has been associated with the Church of Pentecost for years, there is another type of revolution that is currently emerging. Among the leaders of this new revolution is the Worcester Central Church of Pentecost. It is the revolution of what I might call "bodily shaping".

Yesterday, May 6, I went to the Central Assembly to join other brethren in the Saturday weekly workout, which also includes playing of table tennis. The first time I saw the gym I could not believe that this is at the Church of Pentecost. If you have been in the church for, at least ten years, you may understand what I am saying; obviously because Paul says in 1 Tim 4:8 that "bodily exercise profiteth little". There seems to be a broader interpretation of what Paul meant by those words. Wait until I bring you pictures of people doing their own thing at the gym very soon.

Any way, it was when I went to the church that I found the presiding elder of the Worcester central assembly and his wife with another faithful sister working around the church to get it in shape for a wedding that was due later in the day. Please, welcome the presiding elder, Elder Robert Nyarkoh, his beloved wife and that dear sister in these three shots:
